Electronics Technician

specialising in Appliances and Systems

Based on a concrete work contract, electronics technicians on the component level carry out all activities from the development and manufacture to the initial operation of components and appliances.

Their responsibilities also include the planning and control of production processes and the installation, programming and maintenance of manufacturing and testing machinery. They are also involved in the analysis and optimisation of manufacturing processes. To facilitate the realisation of internal and external customer orders, they allocate and coordinate contracts for the procurement of components, auxiliary materials and operating resources.

They select mechanical, electrical and electronic components, customise them and install them in systems. They are able to work with documents drafted in English and communicate in English.

Requirements: relevant secondary education certificate or higher (qualifizierender Hauptschulabschluss in the German education system). Duration: 3 ½ years
