Mechatronics engineer
Their job involves the assembly and maintenance of complex machines, installations and systems and they carry out tasks covering the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, control engineering and information technology.
They independently plan and control operational procedures, monitor and evaluate work results and apply quality management systems. Their job also involves the installation of electrical modules and components and the measurement and verification of physical variables. They also process mechanical parts and add modules and components to mechatronic systems. They deliver mechatronic systems to customers and brief and train these customers in the operation of the systems.
Requirements for this traineeship: secondary school lower level leaving certificate (Mittlerer Bildungsabschluss in German education system)
Duration: 3,5 years
