Loewe achieves record profit
Loewe, the Franconian television manufacturer, recorded superb earnings last year thanks to the European Football Championships, amongst other things. According to the announcement from Loewe’s head office in Kronach, operative EBIT in 2008 climbed 35 percent to €28.5 million. No precise details have been given regarding profit, as there are currently a great number of question marks over consumers’ inclination to spend. Loewe considers itself well-equipped, however, due to its sound capital structure and the long-term financing arrangements already in place.
