In its 5/2011 issue , the trade journal HiFi Test published an individual test of the Loewe Sound Projector SL and the Loewe Individual 46 Compose 3D under the heading "Loewe für Individualisten" [Loewe for Individualists]. The Loewe Sound Projector SL scored 1.2, receiving the rating "top class", while the Loewe Individual 46 Compose 3D was awarded 1.3, thus earning the rating "reference class".
