Under the heading “Den Richtigen schenken” (“Give the right gift”), “test” magazine evaluated 24 LCD televisions in their 12/2009 issue. The Loewe Connect 37 Full-HD+ 100 was crowned test winner in the 94-cm screen category, while among the 80-cm screen diagonals, the Loewe Modus L 32 Full-HD+ 100 took second place, achieving the test verdict “good”.
Editorial verdict:
“...Which set has the best sound? Those who consider perfect sound their number one priority will not be able to avoid an external stereo or surround system. Televisions are simply too flat and their integrated speakers too small to compete. Most even sound really weak and tinny. Yet there are some exceptions – the 94-cm Loewe in particular surprisingly features “very good” sound – for a flat-screen TV. In addition, amongst others, the 80-cm sets from Loewe ... can hold their own in the sound department.”
