Kronach. – Only first-rate sound completes a home cinema system to perfection. That’s why we created the new Loewe Subwoofer. A total of 525 watts (sinus) lend the active bass speaker and the connected speakers added dynamism. Their frequency range extends from 34 Hz to 250 Hz. Numerous new technical features complement the exceptional sound performance to create superlative acoustic enjoyment that will not only enrapture audio connoisseurs. The Loewe Subwoofer is also a highlight in terms of its uncomplicated design. With its classic cuboid shape (width 43cm, height 24.4cm, depth 35.5cm) it is a harmonious addition to any room.

The Loewe Subwoofer is available in High Gloss White, Black and Chrome Silver and adds that certain something to any home cinema system. It goes without saying that the amplifier for lower frequencies is compatible with every product family, and as such, countless Loewe TVs and speakers such as the Individual Stand Speakers SL and the Universal Speakers. But the interplay with televisions from the Individual family really comes into its own when home cinema is experienced in tailor-made perfection. The Loewe Subwoofer is yet further proof of the company’s audio expertise.

Even greater convenience is guaranteed by signal recognition activation. This means that the subwoofer and the integrated amplifier always switch on automatically as soon as an audio signal is recognised at the ports. This also applies to signals from non-Loewe systems, which makes it possible for the Loewe Subwoofer to supplement existing systems to perfection too. Moreover, it is equipped with more than six digital Class-D amplifiers, two of which function as push-pull amps providing the subwoofer channel with a maximum of 150 watts (sinus). Five of these power amplifiers, each boasting 75 watts (sinus), connect the front and surround speakers. Powerful volume – which is optimally graduated with a bass reflex port – high performance and a newly-developed speaker provide a bass foundation of genuine depth. The tone can be adapted to individual requirements via a bass intensity control and bass equaliser. Gold-plated terminal screws and cinch jacks underscore the superior quality of the bass amplifier, ensuring that in years to come, the audio device will continue to make a resounding impression. The frequency range for optional speaker connection extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. An increased signal-to-noise ratio completes the subwoofer’s sound repertoire. Furthermore, the audio-link interface significantly aids installation of a Loewe home system – just one cable connects the subwoofer with the audio decoder in a Loewe TV. With the help of highly efficient Class-D amplifiers and performance-optimised switching power supply units it is also extremely economical in terms of energy. As part of a Loewe system, it consumes less than 0.5 watts in stand-by mode. And of course, with the integrated power switch, the subwoofer can even be disconnected from the mains power supply completely – reducing power consumption to zero.
