Kronach. - As of 1 November 2011, Gerd Weiner (46) will be the new head of sales at Loewe. Within the scope of his sales remit, he will, in the first instance, primarily focus on and further develop the German-speaking market. Gerd Weiner reports directly to the chief marketing and sales officer, Manfred L. Fitzgerald. Following ten years’ international managerial responsibility in marketing and sales at Thomson, Gerd Weiner was most recently director for sales and marketing Germany at Samsung.

Thomas Baumann, head of sales for Germany and Austria, will assume the newly created post of head of sales for the western part of Germany as of 1 January 2012. This change is being made for family reasons.

Andreas Lippert shall continue to have responsibility for Loewe’s international sales.
