Kronach. – “The IFA 2009 has fully lived up to our high expectations“, says Loewe’s CEO Frieder C. Löhrer, summing up the IFA 2009. “With the public’s very good response to our new products and more orders being placed this year than last, the IFA has enabled Loewe to get off to a good start in the new season.“ The highlight of Loewe’s presentation at this year’s IFA was the launch of the Loewe Reference home entertainment system, with the motto “Perfection in Home Entertainment”.

Exclusivity and outstanding workmanship give the new Reference System a unique character. The 52-inch television set, with a Full-HD panel and 200 Hertz technology, combined with the new super-flat speakers, provides perfection in home entertainment. The new Loewe Reference has an impressive depth of only 60 millimetres and yet it contains everything that makes television today so fascinating and diverse. Combined with the Reference Mediacenter it becomes the intelligent nerve centre for genuine multi-room entertainment. The special feature of the Reference speakers: their full-bodied sound is based on electrostatic charging. Loewe is offering this technology, which permits super-slim speaker design, for the first time in the premium market. The Reference Sound Subwoofer rounds off the audio experience perfectly. The entire system can be operated by means of one single high-quality remote control. The clearly laid-out OLED display on the Assist Media shows the complete operating status, even in secondary rooms. Both the Reference TV and the Reference Sound Subwoofer can be placed on a single floor panel made of polished aluminium under which all the cables remain hidden. This further emphasises the sculptural character of the Reference System.

The successful Art product line was extended for the IFA 2009 to include the colour option High Gloss White. Multi-feature televisions, subwoofer and the external stand speakers thus form a high-quality, stylish home cinema system completely in white. In addition, Loewe presented the new Art flat-screen TVs with screen sizes of 32 and 37 inches.

The Loewe MediaNetwork also aroused great interest. Loewe’s new Mediaplayer now enables users to access selected high-quality content on the Internet directly via the television set. The Loewe MediaNetwork includes videos from German public broadcasters ARD and ZDF, exclusive online access to audio books from publisher Burda Verlag and a personal music archive. The Loewe Internetradio iPhone app can be used worldwide to add on the way international radio stations to personal favourites lists for Internet radio on the Loewe flat-screen TV at home. The first-ever presentation of Loewe furniture systems as the perfect addition to the Home Cinema System was also a great success. The AudioVision sound system and BluTech Vision Interactive, one of the most attractive and fastest BluRay players on the market, make home entertainment a sheer pleasure.

“By presenting an extensive array of new products at the IFA 2009, Loewe has highlighted its unique market position, with products that stand out through sensible technology, minimalist form and exclusive individuality. We have thus also lastingly reinforced our brand’s premium character internationally“, concluded Frieder C. Löhrer.
