Loewe showcases new home entertainment systems, Internet applications, home networking and 3D devices at the IFA 2010
Berlin/Kronach. – Loewe's exhibition stand at the IFA 2010 in Berlin is characterised by individual home entertainment systems. In terms of technology and design, these open up more than a million possibilities to compose an individual system. What’s more, at Loewe the topics of Internet and television, multiroom and networking, and 3D television are taking centre stage.
The company is showcasing two new television lines – the Loewe Connect and the Loewe Art. Both are equipped with LED technology – the Connect with many networking possibilities, the Art more for those whose priority is convenience.
A pioneering solution for real video multiroom. The central TV’s hard disk recorder becomes a server allowing recordings to be distributed throughout the home – even to sets without their own hard disk recorder. With the “Follow me” function, the television programme can also be paused on the transmitter set and then continued on the receiver set without any interruption.
The new Loewe Media Portal opens up easy access to numerous multimedia applications which are integrated in the television set. It also connects the TV with the Internet, including Internet radio, media libraries, video on demand and online news. In addition, it provides the opportunity of surfing freely on the Internet using the television set.
Loewe is also presenting the latest generation of videotext in Berlin. Based on the new HbbTV standard, Loewe MediaText provides access to Internet content specially prepared by broadcasters and brings it directly to the TV screen – at just the touch of a button. With a new design and completely new functions, this is videotext such as has never been seen before.
For Loewe, as far as the topic of 3D is concerned, it’s all about the right sense of proportion. The company is showcasing 3D televisions and Blu-ray players for 3D television in Berlin; technology which will be available in dealerships in the first quarter of 2011.
