Kronach. – Leading supplier of high-quality home entertainment systems, Loewe; and maxdome, Germany’s largest online video library, are embarking on a voyage into the networked media landscape of the future.

In Germany, owners of Internet-enabled Loewe TVs are now able to directly access maxdome content – without having to go through a set-top box. Users can alternate between the world of TV and a comprehensive online video library comprising over 45,000 titles – all at the touch of a button. In addition to a broad selection of feature films and series, customers will also find infotainment and light entertainment shows, documentaries, and music and children’s programmes. Many titles are already available in HD quality.

The maxdome application in the selection menu of the Loewe MediaNet Internet portal creates a direct link to the online video library. Following free registration at www.maxdome.de/loewe, users receive direct access to maxdome’s broad selection of content – including HD quality videos which can be selected and played back immediately. Alternatively, users can use the integrated search function to look for titles – or find a specific title in the web shop and then save it to their notepad so that it can be called up directly on their TV at a later date.
