Kronach. – The new Loewe Connect ID is also to be available as a large 55” screen diagonal from autumn. Combining innovation for the senses and individual design (ID), the red dot award-winning Loewe TV is virtually unrivalled among smart TVs. The Connect ID can actually be designed to reflect the ideas and the personality of its owner. The new Connect ID family from Loewe is available in two technical versions (with or without the integrated DR+ hard disk recorder) and in four different screen sizes (32, 40, 46 and 55-inch) – with twelve different colour combinations and approx. 30 unique set-up options. The choice of Black, White, Silver, Beige, Green or Orange housing colours, and of High Gloss White or High Gloss Black frames, allows the Connect ID to blend perfectly into either a classically elegant, or an assuredly progressive living environment and match the owner’s personal lifestyle. However, it is not only impressive in terms of design – the equipment inside the Connect ID flat-screen TVs leaves nothing to be desired either. All four screen classes afford a realistic 3D experience, excellent audio quality and an unlimited multimedia offering with unique apps.

Convincing – down to the last detail
The Connect ID is available in four different screen sizes: from mid-format 32-inch, to 40 and 46-inch, right up to the big screen 55-inch home cinema format. It goes without saying that Loewe uses an LED panel with 200Hz technology for optimum picture quality in all formats. What’s more, with Loewe Active 3D glasses, three-dimensional content can also be seen at its best. All formats feature HDTV tuners for DVB-T/C and DVB-S2. A future-proof DVB-T2 module can also be optionally integrated. A wide array of connectors, including two CI+ slots, three HDMI and two USB ports, guarantee the Connect ID optimum connectivity. The Connect ID can also be equipped with the integrated Loewe DR+ hard disk recorder on request. This provides a total storage capacity of 500GB, allowing owners to record their favourite programmes – as long as this is permitted by the content provider – at any time.

Perfectly networked
LAN and WLAN are included as standard and the Connect ID can also be conveniently integrated into the home network via Powerline. Classic Loewe smart TV functions, such as Loewe MediaHome, HbbTV via Loewe MediaText and access to Internet content via Loewe MediaNet, are therefore available at all times. And, of course, the Connect ID also uses award-winning Loewe DR+ Streaming technology. This makes it possible to conveniently stream recordings from the hard disk to various other Loewe televisions, or to switch a programme begun on the Connect ID television to another Loewe TV on the home network for further viewing using the convenient Follow Me function. Last but not least, the Connect ID can be controlled not only via the Loewe Assist remote control delivered as standard, but also through an iPad, using what is probably the most comprehensive TV control app there is, the Loewe Assist Media app. At the same time, once the Loewe Assist Media app is installed on the iPad it becomes an electronic programme guide (EPG) in a class of its own – changing channels and programming recordings on the home network has never been so easy.

Sound in a class of its own
One of the particular strengths of Loewe televisions is their outstanding sound. The Loewe Connect ID is no exception. The two broadband speakers developed specifically for the Connect ID guarantee optimum voice reproduction and well-balanced, powerful audio. But the sound from the 40, 46 and 55-inch versions is more powerful still. Here, two down-firing woofers add a rich home-cinema sound. High-efficiency D-class amplifiers and fully digital audio signal processing, all the way from the aerial input to the amplifier, ensure the utmost in high fidelity. All in all, the Connect ID performs brilliantly with up to 80 watts of musical power. Here, multi-band automatic volume control (AVC) guarantees evenly balanced volume across a variety of sources and broadcasters. With an integrated multichannel decoder and AV pre-amplifier, the Loewe Connect ID is also enabled for Dolby Digital / dts 5.1 multi-channel audio, making it the perfect partner for a Loewe Sound System. In this case in particular, the Loewe Home Cinema sets are particularly well suited. Over and above this, the fabric of the speaker covers underlines the special audio qualities of the Connect ID in terms of both design and acoustics.

Unfailingly well-placed
With its wide variety of set-up options, the Connect ID can be integrated perfectly into individual living environments, be they traditional, with the variable Table Stand Comfort, modern, with the fixed Table Stand Dynamic, or spacious, with the Table Stand Tableau. Further alternative options are the Floor Stand Connect ID, with or without equipment board, and the Floor Stand Universal. The Connect ID can of course also be placed on one of the many Loewe racks or hung on the wall like a painting using the wall mount. As a practical touch, the rear panel comes prepared for the required Vesa brackets and also features an integrated Kensington lock to secure the TV if required. Those who love spectacular staging can, depending on its size, mount their Connect ID either on the Wall Stand Flex that leans against the wall (up to 46”), or as a free-standing feature, on the Loewe Screen Lift Plus floor-to-ceiling fixture. Hidden cabling allows the minimalist design of the Connect ID to be admired from any perspective.

Energy efficient
It goes without saying that the new Loewe Connect ID 55 is also particularly energy-efficient, and has been categorised in energy efficiency class A+ accordingly. Materials and energy have been saved by integrating numerous functions (e.g. set-top box, external hard drive). In broad terms, the Loewe Connect ID family is also nearly five kilogrammes lighter than its predecessor, the Loewe Connect. Every kilo that does not have to be produced and transported contributes to improving environmental impact. Typically for Loewe, all Connect ID TVs can be completely disconnected from the mains at just a touch of the integrated power switch. This ensures that the TV only uses electricity when it is actually required.
