Loewe presents home entertainment in all its new-found diversity at IFA 2012
Berlin/Kronach. – Individuality is writ large for Loewe at IFA 2012. And in true form, the Loewe exhibition stand in Berlin revolves around new home entertainment systems – all of which can be assembled with the utmost individuality, be it in terms of technology and design, colour, materials and set-up options – right through to premium one-off models. This, of course, also includes effortless operation of both the vivid multimedia world via individually configurable favourites on the screen, and the increasingly networked television via tablet or smartphone.
Loewe is giving its latest show-stopping TV, the Loewe Reference ID, its world premiere. The exclusive flat-screen TV is a masterpiece of craftsmanship, exclusive materials, and superlative personalisation potential which even allows for unique one-offs. The German premium manufacturer will also be showcasing such exclusive models in Berlin; models which have been created in collaboration with the Italian piano manufacturer Fazioli, and Prince Alexander of Schaumburg-Lippe.
No other home entertainment system opens up more personal creative freedom than the new Loewe Individual TV. Be it colour, material or surface; screen size, sound and set-up options, multimedia or networking – the new Loewe Individual offers in excess of one million different options and integrates itself seamlessly into any individual living environment. Loewe Individual is a unique product concept, offering a premium-class, design-oriented home entertainment system in which each element is perfectly complementary.
The new Loewe Assist Media operating system and the Loewe Assist Easy remote control take an entirely new approach in the operation of high-quality home entertainment systems. Users now only have to decide whether they want to listen to music, watch TV or videos, or browse through a photo collection. Everything else is taken care of behind the scenes by the perfectly-honed technology of the new Loewe operating system. Here, all the core operating steps can be controlled through the cursor zone of the remote control.
The Loewe Connect ID is also to be available as a large 55” screen diagonal from autumn. The red dot award-winning Loewe TV brings together individuality and colour like almost no other smart TV. The choice of Black, White, Silver, Beige, Green or Orange housing colours, and of High Gloss White or High Gloss Black frames, allows the Connect ID to blend just as perfectly into a classically elegant, or an assuredly progressive living environment, and reflect the owner’s personal lifestyle. For those with a particular eye for fashion, there is the Strenesse limited edition Loewe Connect ID. The warm hues of the subtle leather detailing and the speaker covers are the personal signature of Strenesse head designer, Gabriele Strehle.
The Loewe Audiodesign products, the SoundVision and SoundBox, are being showcased exclusively in new colours. This year’s IFA will also see the premiere of SoundVision operation via the Loewe Assist Media app, making smartphone control a reality.
Loewe was the recipient of two particularly coveted awards in the run-up to IFA. At one of the most internationally significant and well-regarded design competitions – the red dot award: communication design – the exceptional design of the Loewe Assist Media app received the much-coveted red dot: best of the best award in recognition of the highest levels of design quality. The best European home entertainment system is a Loewe too. Such is the opinion of the renowned specialist magazines which belong to the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), which awarded the Loewe Connect ID 46 TV in conjunction with the Loewe Home Cinema Set 5.1 the EISA Best Product 2012-2013 award in the category “European Home Theater Solution”.
