IT Specialist in Application Development

The first year of the apprenticeship is comprised of basic on-the-job training as an IT specialist in application development, including study at the professional school in Bayreuth. A foundation course of study for a Bachelor of Computer Sciences at the University of Applied Sciences in Hof begins in the second year. The main study period (2 semesters) takes place in the third year. The apprenticeship is completed in the second half of the third year. In the second half of the fourth year, study is continued in a chosen specialist field (e.g. business informatics/applied informatics/media informatics). In the fifth year, the sandwich course is completed with a final thesis.
Requirements: general qualification for university entrance or vocational qualification for technical college entrance (Abitur/Fachabitur in German education system).
Duration: 4 ½ years
Application deadline for training in 2013 is the 30.09.2012.
