Loewe shares were first listed in the SMAX segment of the German stock exchange on 8 July 1999. They were listed on the MDAX from 27 December 2001. With the restructuring of the market segments, Loewe shares entered the prime standard. Due to the reduction of the MDAX to 50 prices, Loewe shares were listed on the SDAX. The German stock exchange executive board decided to take Loewe shares off the SDAX, with effect from 24 September 2007, as a result of the low market capitalisation. As Loewe has fulfilled the criteria of the German stock exchance in terms of market cap and trading volume since mid of 2008 on a sustained basis, re-listing on the SDAX will be effected as of December 22, 2008.
The largest shareholder is the Sharp Corporation of Japan, with 28.8%, along with the company management and corporate bodies (and members of their families) with 15.4%. Free float represents 55.8% of the Loewe AG capital of 13,009,229 shares, including a total of 10.1% held by EQMC Fonds, London.
