Social responsibility at Loewe.

Sustainably profitable growth is only possible on a foundation where the interests of employees, shareholders, customers and the public are balanced. Loewe has always adhered to this basic principle.
 
In difficult times, all employees, including the executive board, did without part of their wages and salaries in order to prevent further job losses. In successful years such as 2007, this money was paid back with 25% interest. There was also an exceptional bonus for all employees for the success of 2007, along with a dividend for the shareholders.

Loewe customers receive excellent products with multi-award-winning design and frequent test victories. Loewe products offer added value, which actually means something to customers. In the region surrounding the company headquarters in Kronach, Loewe supports the "Jugend forscht" ("Youth research") competition, is involved in the arts and culture and also participates in regional marketing.  The company was also responsible for the internationally-acclaimed "Waterfire" video sculpture by Italian artist Fabrizio Plessi coming to Kronach. This sculpture was the first of its kind to be permanently located outside.
