Home networking with consummate user convenience
Kronach. – Increasingly, a connected home is a prerequisite for convenient home entertainment. Loewe is keeping abreast of this development. With the new Loewe Multiroom Display, Loewe writes a new chapter in the story of user-friendly and flexible cutting-edge entertainment technology, following on from the launch of the Multiroom Receiver (2009), the Assist Media remote control (2009) and the Loewe Mediacenter (2010). The Multiroom Display is wirelessly connected to the Loewe Multiroom Receiver, in analogue with the Assist Media remote control, which has the same operating concept. The Loewe Multiroom Display is the compact on-site solution for those times when you want to move from the living room to the kitchen but continue listening to your favourite opera via the Multiroom – without bringing the Assist Media remote control with you.
Top technology meets convenience
Wholly outstanding technology must also provide outstanding convenience. That’s why Loewe developers have made the Multiroom Display so user friendly. Intuitive menu navigation with a clear lay-out and clean, timeless yet contemporary design guarantees maximum user convenience and makes the laborious learning process for complicated functions a thing of the past. With the cover art display, the Loewe Multiroom Display also allows available CD cover artwork to be shown on the ultra-bright TFT screen in sync with the artist playing. Naturally, energy consumption is constantly at the low level expected nowadays. Moreover, in stand-by mode, the connection is completely deactivated.
Entirely flexible
For perfect integration into the individual living environment, the Loewe Multiroom Display is available with a surface mount or – for the easiest installation – a flush mount. For the latter option, a fully free-mounted installation without electrical wiring is possible. In this instance, energy is supplied through a high-performance rechargeable battery which lasts for up to six weeks at a time. A mini USB port for software updates, or recharging the battery, is subtly integrated.
And there are no compromises in terms of colour either. There is now a new colour option for the Loewe Multiroom Receiver – from Q4 2010, the elegant receiver will not only be available in chrome silver, but also in white. Accordingly, the operator panel of the Loewe Multiroom Display can be non-permanently attached to the wall via a GIRA base plate and integrated with an elegant, white frame. What's more, the frame aesthetics can be individually designed and the set-up adapted according to personal taste through the GIRA specialist dealer. As well as the different colours, a choice of materials such as glass, stainless steel, aluminium and wood are also available.
