That’s why Loewe is continually extending MediaNet, the online portal for its latest flat screen TVs, with interesting, exciting and useful content – and it goes without saying that Loewe MediaNet is clearly laid-out and edited. The wide selection of Internet sites has been optimised for display on large flat screen TVs. In addition to this, there is also the option of creating personal favourites. Uncomplicated and the epitome of convenience, MediaNet allows Internet content to be accessed entirely independently of the PC. The integrated browser even makes surfing the web with the remote control or a USB keyboard (also wireless) child’s play. Big screen Internet enjoyment is guaranteed, particularly through the option of accessing new content, such as maxdome and Napster or, in the social media arena, facebook and twitter.

With maxdome on your Loewe TV’s MediaNet, television has almost surpassed all limits. Courtesy of Germany’s largest online video library, over 35,000 videos are at your disposal – direct from your armchair, simply by pressing the remote control. Not only does maxdome offer the latest feature films, series and shows organised neatly according to genre, it also offers documentaries, cartoons and music videos – and, of course, more and more videos in outstanding HD quality. Everyone, regardless of age or taste, is guaranteed to find what they're looking for.
Using the maxdome application on a Loewe television couldn’t be easier. Through various Top 100 listings, such as "Top 100 films", "Top 100 series" or "Top 100 free videos", the user can quickly access the most popular content. What’s more, an optimised and more sophisticated search screen offers quick access to all videos. The improved notepad not only allows you to select your favourite films, but also informs you automatically as soon as the latest episode of your favourite series is available.
Interested Loewe customers can find the maxdome application on the homepage of the MediaNet portal. To access content, Loewe customers are required to complete a one-off, free of charge registration at www.maxdome.de/service/loewe. In addition to the option of renting videos individually through the video library, maxdome also offers an attractive subscription option. maxdome is currently only available for Loewe MediaNet in Germany.

Napster

Internet-enabled LED TVs in the Individual, Connect and Art product ranges now have access to everything the online music service has to offer at the touch of a button. This currently comprises over 15 million songs and audio texts from 1.4 million albums, from over 1.1 million artists of every genre, as well as numerous additional functions. These include, for example, pre-programmed radio channels from the Napster music editorial team, current new releases, the official charts and handpicked playlists at a glance, not to mention the Automix function, which allows users to find songs which suit their very own music taste perfectly. Owners of compatible TV sets in Germany or the UK can currently register with Napster and test out the music flat-rate for 14 days, free of charge.

Social Media

Tweeting your news updates or posting your recent holiday snaps can now be even more enjoyable. The two social media giants, facebook and twitter, have now been integrated into the MediaNet and as such a large-scale virtual social life is now possible on a Loewe flat screen TV. A USB keyboard makes chatting online in your living room more convenient than ever: facebook, twitter, Napster, maxdome – these are just a few examples of MediaNet’s functions. The new Loewe channel is also set to be integrated into MediaNet and will provide information about Loewe, including updates on the latest products. Here, you can watch films such as "Made in Germany Since 1923" or "Individuality. A world of entertainment you control." The Loewe MediaNet is thus being expanded smartly and intelligently, step by step, and in true Loewe style.
